Surah 23

The Faithful Ones

1. The faithful have succeeded,
2. Those who are in awe in their prayers,
3. Those who shun senseless talk,
4. Those who, of the purifications, are doers,
5. And those who are of their gaps/distances protectors,
6. Except from their pairs/alphas, or their right hands/faiths won’t reign, thus they are not to be blamed,
7. Whoever seek beyond this are the transgressors,
8. And they are to their custodies and their covenants the guardians,
9. And they are of their prayers the keepers,
10. Those are the inheritors,
11. Who inherit paradise, in it they are eternal,
12. And We have created mankind from a species of clay/substance,
13. Then We made it a drop in place in a settlement,
14. Then We created the drop sticky clay, so We created the sticky clay fleshy tissue, so We created the fleshy tissue bones, so We dressed the bones flesh, then We constructed it another creation. Bountiful is God the Perfecter of the creation. [As this narrative does not fit into neither the stages of development of the embryo known to science, and nor the stages of evolution of life, as theorised by evolutionists, it best be taken as a reference to much earlier stages of human existence, in universes where life manifested in matter of a different molecular and atomic structures].
15. Then indeed you are after this dead,
16. Then indeed you are the day of the Up-rise resurrected,
17. Thus, We created above you seven routes, and We are never to the creation inattentive,
18. And We dropped from the sky water in measurement, We settled it in the earth, and We are to passing it capable,
19. And We constructed by it for you gardens of the pick [the best], and steps [we readأعتاب] for you, in it is plenty of fruit and from it you do eat,
20. And a tree comes out of Mount Light, spreads by colour and form for the eaters,
21. And for you in the Bounties [the messengers] is a statement/moral, We serve you of what is in their esoterica, and for you are many benefits in them and from them you eat/serve yourselves,
22. And on them and on the planets’ orbits you are carried.
23. And We sent Noah to his people, and said he: “O people, worship God, you have no god but He, do you not take refuge?”
24. Said the ones of his people who had distanced: “this is no one but a human like us, wants he to be elevated above you, had god willed he would have descended angels, we haven’t heard of this from our early fathers,
25. “He is none but a man with demons in him, watch out for him until a term.”
26. Said he [Noah]: “Lord, make me conquer what they lie”,
27. So We inspired to him that make the ships/orbits by Our Eyes and Our Inspiration until Our Command come and the well overflows, do sail, in it are of every two souls [we read روحين]in two, I destroy [we read أُهلك] except those upon whom the say has forth come, and address Me not about those who have darkened, they are sunken,
28. As you have straightened you and those with you on the ships/orbits, do say: “The Homage is to God Who has salvaged us from the darkened people”,
29. And say: “Lord, drop me down to a blessed place, Thou art the Good of the Droppers”.
30. In this were prodigies, and We were trying [the people].
31. Then We constructed after them another era/creation,
32. So, We sent in them a messenger, that worship God, you have no god but Him, do you not take refuge?
33. Said the ones of his people who had darkened and falsified about meeting the hereafter, and We made them affluent in the low lives: “this is none but a human like you, eating of what you eat and drinking of what you drink,
34. “should you obey a human like you, you are hence losers,
35. “does he promise that once you have died and turned dust and bones you are brought out?
36. “wishful thinking, wishful thinking to what you are promised,
37. “no, it is but our low life, we die and we live and we are not remitted,
38. “no, he is but a man who fretted falsehood on god, and of him we are not believers”.
39. Said he: “Lord, make me conquer what they have falsified”,
40. Said He: “only shortly they will become contrite”,
41. Took them the Call by the Law, We turned them froth, far with the darkened people,
42. Then We constructed after them other eras/creations. [Few points are clear from this recount: that human existence is continuous, that there are always messengers who come with knowledge to point to truth, that none of the messengers overrides his predecessors or bars his successors, that there have been many human geneses, and that human civilisations have always thought that they believe. This brief narrative is also consistent with archeological findings which point to a rise in water level around 12,000 years ago, which was followed by a period which I’ve called on COB the pre-ancient, which was followed by the known history, as the forthcoming verses hint.]
43. No nation overtakes its fate, and nor do they delay,
44. Then We sent Our messengers successively, every time came to a nation its messenger they falsified him, so We made them [the nations] follow one another and We made them tales, far with a people who believe not.
45. Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our Paragons and a decisive authority,
46. To the Pharaoh and his men, they looked down [on them], and they were a haughty people,
47. Said they: “are we to trust humans like us, and their people are slaves of ours?”
48. So they falsified them and they were hence destroyed,
49. And We gave the Book to Moses, may they be guided,
50. And We made of Mary’s son and his mother a Paragon, and We sheltered them onto a hill of settlement and discernment/fresh water,
51. O messengers, eat of the good Aliment and do good, I am of what you do All Informed,
52. And that this is your nation one nation, and I am your Lord, take refuge in Me,
53. They scattered their Aim between them in books, each party in what they have rejoice,
54. Do leave them in their fortune until a term,
55. Do they calculate that what We supply them is of money and offspring?
56. We hasten the abundance for them, nay, they feel not,
57. Indeed, those who are in awe of their Lord have pity,
58. Those who, of their Lord’s Verses, are believers,
59. Those who, to their Lord, affix none,
60. Those who give what they are given while their hearts are overwhelmed, they are to their Lord returning,
61. Those who hasten to the Good, and to it they are forerunners,
62. We charge no self except her capacity and We have a Book uttering/reasoning in truth and they are not wronged,
63. Nay, their hearts are in good luck from this, and to them are the deeds below that, and they are of them [the deeds] the owners,
64. Until We take their affluent ones of them by suffering, hence they dare!
65. Dare not today, by Us you won’t be triumphant,
66. My Verses were being read to you and upside-down you were turning,
67. Looking down on it, forsaking a Discourse,
68. Did they not follow through the say? Or has it come to them what has not come to their early fathers?
69. Or did they not recognise their messenger, they are of him deniers?
70. Or do they say there are demons in him, indeed he came to them by the Law, and most of them are Law haters,
71. Had the Law followed their passions, the heavens and the earth would have ruined will all in them, but We came to them with their history/reminders, but they are of their history/reminders turning away,
72. [As if] you are demanding a payment from them, God’s Payment is the Good, is He the Best Provider,
73. Indeed, you call them to a straight way,
74. Indeed, those who believe not in the hereafter are from the Way defecting,
75. And if We mercified them and exposed the ill in them, they noise in their tyranny astray,
76. We have taken them by the suffering, they settled not in their Lord, they beg not,
77. Until We open to them a door of immense pain, they are in it stunned,
78. It is He Who made vision and hearing and hearts for you, but little do you thank,
79. And it is He who spread you in the earth and to Him you will be gathered,
80. And it is He Who livens and deadens, and to Him is the change of the night and the day, discern you not?
81. Nay, they said like what the early ones said,
82. They said: “so, when we die and we turn to dust and bones then we are remitted?
83. “we were promised this and so our fathers of before, this is none but the fallacies of the early ones”,
84. Say: “to whom belongs the earth and those who are in it if you know?”
85. They’ll say: “to god”, say: “so, do you not remember?”
86. Say: “who is the Lord of the seven skies and the Lord of the Mighty Throne?”
87. They’ll say: “to god”, say: “do you not take refuge?”
88. Say: “in Whose Hand is the kingdom of everything, rescues He and is rescued not, if you were knowing?”
89. They’ll say: “to god”, say: “so how are you dazzled?”
90. Nay, We came to them by the Law, and they are dishonest,
91. God took not a child and no god is with Him, if so, every god goes with what they created, some being higher than some, transcends God what they describe,
92. Knower of the Unseen and the Witness, Lofty is He above what they attach,
93. Say: “Lord, do demonstrate to me what they are promised,
94. “Lord, so you make me not in the darkened people”,
95. And We are to demonstrating to you what We promised them indeed Capable,
96. Fend the evil deed off by what is better, We are better Informed of what they describe,
97. And do say: “Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the devil’s insinuations,
98. “and I take refuge in Thee that they [the insinuations] come not”
99. And when death comes to one, one says: “Lord do return me,
100. “perhaps I do good where I left off”, no, a word he is the sayer of it, behind them is a tract, until the day they are resurrected,
101. As it is blown in the apex, no relation between them then, and they question not,
102. He whose credits are weighty, those are the achievers,
103. And he whose credits are light, those are them who have lost themselves, and in the low world they dwell,
104. Fire flames their faces, in it they sulk,
105. Were not My Verses being read to you and you were by it lying?
106. “our Lord, our heedlessness overcame us, and we were a people bewildered,
107. “our Lord, bring us out of it, and if we returned we are thus transgressors”,
108. Said He: “be humiliated in it and speak not,
109. “It was a team of My Abiders saying: ‘our Lord, we believe, do forgive us and mercify us, Thou Art the Good of all the Merciful’
110. “and you took them derisively until they made you forget my remembrance, and you were of them laughing,
111. “I have rewarded them today for their patience, it is them the winners”,
112. Said one: “how many in the earth have you stayed a year?”
113. They said: “we stayed a day or part of a day, ask the counting ones”,
114. Said the one: “but you have stayed only little if you were truly knowing”,
115. So, did you reckon that We created you vainly, and that to us you are not returned?
116. Lofty is God The King The Law, no god but He, The Lord of the Elevated Throne,
117. Whoever calls another god with God, no proof has he of it, that so, his accountability is to his Lord, distanced ones achieve none,
118. And do say: “Lord, forgive and mercify, Thou art the Good of the Compassionate”
