Surah 35

Illustrator

1. The homage is to God, Illustrator of the heavens and the earth, Maker of the angels: messengers with wings, two, three, four; increases He what He will in the creation, God is Capable of all things,
[The word “
فاطر" has featured a few times in the Grand Book. Its root points to making a split in something. It is hence another expression pointing to the duality which was begun from the unity:
There’s no shortage of such expressions in the Ghita, the Qur’an and the Hikmah,
The Creator splits the seed, and liberates the soul,
And let’s not forget: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Gospel of John),
Says He: “Om” expressed in Sanskrit, and “Kun” (
كن), which means "be", in Arabic. If anyone knows their equivalent in Aramaic and Hebrew: please tell us.
And although Om doesn’t literally translate to “be”, its primordiality points to the beginning.

Vision becomes upon duality …: as the unity becomes: looker and looker, while still a unity.
Tawheed (Union): is the return to those memories in every human’s mind. As for the grand and exclusive titles that some religions and sects have awarded themselves: they serve only their self-praise and self-selection purposes,
If they served a good purpose in the past, to keep certain tribes united under certain traditions and codes of behaviour: today they are none but a sedative that impairs their mind and vision, and stands between them and the road to intellectual, spiritual and moral development.]

2. What God opens up of compassion: no one can hold back, and what He holds back no one can release after Him, is He the Exalted the Sovereign,
[Hear you who are capable of hearing.]

3. O you people, remember God’s providence upon you, is there a creator other than God, providing you from the heaven and the earth? there is no God but He, so how have you been faked?
[The essence that the word “
تؤفَكون" is meant to convey has escaped Islamic scholars, not surprisingly. Why god would use it in this tense, is incomprehensible to them,
Of course they’ll say that it means: how do you not follow the rituals and the sharia that they take as ultimate guidance …?

Its root is “
أفك" which translates accurately to "to fake", but the literal translation of “تؤفَكون" is “you have been faked”!
And this is precisely the essence that is being conveyed,
It is saying that when people go far from their Origin: they become fake, as their innate mindfulness is stifled and replaced by beliefs, passions and mundane laws …

If, once the pre-Othmanic scripts have been disclosed to the public, it can be proven that the word is more likely meant to be “تأفكون", then the verse should be taken to mean: “so why do you fake?”]

4. If they falsify you [the messenger], messengers before you were falsified, and to God all the aims are returned,
5. O you people, God’s promise is the Law, be not deluded by the low lives, let not delusion delude you about God,
[It takes a leap into the Law to witness the essence of what is being said here …
Any attempt to analyse linguistically and hence religiously what is being conveyed is bound to precipitate in the local law of local right and wrong …
And the reader obliviously falls in the trap which they are being warned not to fall in!]

6. Satan is to you an enemy/a forerunner, so do make him enemy/be ahead of him, that what he calls his sect is for them to be landlords of hell,
[The word “
عدو": in its root, points to “to be ahead of something”. Its usage is extended to mean: to be rival of someone.
It is often said in the Qur’an that Satan is mankind’s “
عدو", which is not only saying that he’s mankind’s enemy - as in wanting to dazzle people’s minds and vision to have them equate him with god - but also that he’s ahead of them …
And this is how he manages to delude people, with the little knowledge that he has ahead of them …
How does he acquire such knowledge? It is either from the messengers’ Books that he distorts and manipulates to suit his agendas, or from his clever natural observations …]

7. Those who have distanced have a severe suffering, and those who believed and did good: have forgiveness and a great reward,
8. Is it him whose bad deed has been ornated for him? That God bewilders whoever wants [to be bewildered] and guides He whoever wants [to be guided]; let not your [addressing the messenger] soul go sorry for them, God is Knower of what they do,
[The fine line between the individual’s freewill and the Heavens’ is very fine indeed, and vanishes upon peaking to the higher horizons of awareness …
COB is more inclined to highlight the freewill that every human is endowed with, even if this is believed to be God’s Will, which it is …]

9. God is He Who sends the breeze/spirit, so it generates clouds, We lead them to a dead town, by them We enliven the land after its death, this is the sprawl [of life],
[The word that we read as ‘sprawl’ is from the root of “
نشر", which means to spread and sprawl out …
Only in the minds of Islamic scholars it points to the end-of-days, when humanity is “spread” …!
But the verse is pointing to the spread of life in the physical world, which is constantly happening …
The spread that can only happen by the guidance of some “spirit”, that is the essence which is being expressed in the cosmic manifestation and its activity …]

10. Whoever wants the magnificence: it is to God all the Magnificence; to Him ascends the good word and the good deed that He lifts up; and those who plot evil: to them is severe suffering, and the plots of those are in vain,
[Indeed, it is a purpose of life: to look and admire …
And when this is experienced sincerely: it is an elevation of awareness …
As for those who are busy: in daily activities of competition and multiplication: they get what they want, but all of it has to go at some point … and the frustration is severe …

If not taken in this spirit, the verse collapses in relative good and evil, in the wars of religion versus religion.]

11. And God created you from Substance, then from a drop, then He made you in pairs, no female conceives or delivers without His knowledge, and no aging [person] ages, and nor is their age diminished: that is not in a Book; indeed this is to God facile,
[As COB has said before, the stages of human development that are briefly expressed in the Books do not refer to fertilisation and subsequent pregnancy, or to the stages of embryonic development etc. … but indeed to much earlier stages of human existence, well before the physical bodies as we know them were reached.]

12. Nor do the seas [of humanity] equal; this one is fresh and sweet, pleasurable to drink, and that one is pungent brine; from both you eat tender flesh, and extract jewelry you wear, and you see the planets traversing them [as in the messengers and their assistants who are incarnated to guide and teach], so you may seek elevation from Him, and may you be thankful,
[Human knowledge of both believing and non-believing humanity is beneficial to all humanity …
And by saying “knowledge” we exclude beliefs … which imply rituals and pagan practices and morality …
Let’s not forget, that even the most materialistic civilisations have contributed to the progress of human natural knowledge and expertise…
Even their errors which are meant to tell the world: this is not how you do things …]

13. Lodges He the night in the day, and lodges He the day in the night, dedicated He the sun and the moon, each traversing to an allotted term, this and all is your Lord, to Him is the Kingdom, and those that you invoke below Him reign not a splinter,
[Everything has its opposite within it, and messengers come to start new days and new cycles of human existence …]

14. If you [the people] invoke them, they hear not your invocation, and even if they hear they wouldn’t respond to you; and the day of the Up-rise they will disavow your affixing [things, places and people to God]; no one can foretell you [addressing the messenger] like an Expert,
15. O you people, you are the needy to God, and God is the Needless the Ubiquitous,
[Clearly, it has never been said in any Book that god needs human rituals and supplications …
If people go by the teaching of His messengers it’s for their own good …
God is needless of everything that overflew from a Spark of His Existence …
If humans were to vision without focus, sunglasses and filters: it would be a thunderbolt to their consciousness, and they would want to hide behind a veil of temporary blindness …
In early suffixes of human consciousness: a full, yet limited vision was allowed: for the human consciousness to attempt to manage it: it caused panic and reduced the consciousness to helplessness, and quickly, humanity represented by the messengers begged for forgiveness in limited vision …
What Existence can display of Might, Ubiquity and Beauty is beyond human imagination, and humans have been being trained gradually to conceive a Spark of it to admire it and wonder in it …]

16. Will He, He would dispense with you [the people] and bring forth a new creation,
17. And this is not to God unsurmountable,
18. And no burdened [self] is burdened by another [burdened self’s] burden, and if an overloaded [self] cries out for help with her load: no part of it will be carried [for her], even if it was a close relative [that is trying to help her]; that so you [the messenger] are warning those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and they uphold the prayers; and those who purify themselves: that so, they are purified for themselves, and to God is [all] the becoming,
[This is again an unequivocal declaration and affirmation of humans’ own responsibility to drive their own destinies and correct their own mistakes and to purify their own minds from fallacies and misconception …
This is a cosmic reality,
It cannot be overridden or cancelled by religious authorities’ interpretations and exegeses of their and other’s Books of religion …
And zakat (purification) is clearly not a taxation system which allows the wealthy to get limitlessly wealthier, as long as they give of the camel its ear to the helpless and the destitute,
If charity in religions is meant to purify people’s earnings: it’s by abolishing poverty and establishing equality that it can achieve that,
The systems of zakat and charity of the pious people and their religious authorities are achieving nothing but the perpetuation and the aggravation of inequality and destitution,

And the systems of heavenly cronyism that are called intercession by religions: is their own fanciful thinking, it has its roots in heathen traditions …

That being said, people should never feel helpless and abandoned, because they never are …
It is their religious authorities and materialistic ideologies that have stifled their innate trust in the compassion and guidance of the Law: to sow the seeds of distrust in the draconian god of monotheist beliefs and the randomness of the universal eventuality …]

19. And they do not equal: the blind and the seer,
20. And neither do the darkness and the light,
21. And neither do the shade and the blaze,
22. And they do not equal: the living and the dead, that God makes whom He will hear, and you [the messenger] are not to make those in the graves hear,
[Similar verses have come in all the Books. In the minds of religious authorities, they were understood to say that the bodies of the dead can’t see and hear …!
The spirituality of Abrahamic religions can be summarised by the belief in ghosts of the dead lurking in graveyards and old houses …, and demons and angels all around us that we can’t see …
Little wonder why the spread and the thriving of materialism in the world, and the total rejection of the Books, and the disbelief in any human values whatsoever, unless they can be measured by money or some form of energy …]

23. You [the messenger] are but a warner,
24. We have sent you by the Law: a bringer of glad tidings and a warner; no nation: but a warner has been to it,
25. And if they falsify you, those before them have falsified, their messengers brought to them the evidence, the Oracles [of David] and the Luminous Book [the Gospel],
26. Then I took them who disbelieved, so how was My wrath?
27. Have you not seen that God dropped water from the sky, by it We brought out fruit various in colours, and of the mountains, white strips and red [ones] various in colours, and black spots,
[The sight of high mountains from a distance is nothing short of awe and wonder. A good-looking eye is reminded of early visions of duality … when solid white light had to disperse … and a mountain-like vision was observed …]

28. And of the people and the walkers [on the earth] and the Bounties [the messengers], in various colours also, that so, those of the abiders in God who fear God are the knowledgeable ones, God is Exalted Forgiving,
29. That those who recite God’s Book, and they upheld the prayers and expended of what We provided [used their knowledge and high standards] them secretly and openly: they want a trade that won’t ail,
30. So He returns to them their rewards and increases them of His elevation, is He Forgiving Grateful,
31. And what We inspired to you [the messenger] of the Book is the Law, conforming to what he [the prophet] has between his hands, indeed God is about His servants All Informed,
32. Then We bequeathed the Book to those that We selected of the abiders in Us, some of them darkened to themselves, and some are purposeful, and some are forerunners to the good by God’s leave, this is indeed the greatest elevation,
[Islamic scholars refuse to read verse 31 correctly, because it refutes their entire theory of Islam and their reading of the Qur’an: overriding and cancelling the previous messages …
Then, verse 32 says: “the Book”. It is clear that the term “the Book” is being used to point to God’s word, without giving it a specific title, to confirm the unity of the Book in its different languages at different times and locations …

A god who cancels his previous books or overrides them, or confirms to himself that the newest version of his book conforms with the previous ones that he has between his hands: can only be a monotheist god, born in people’s imagination …
The cacophony of such arguments is not worth a discussion, that indeed it triggers ridicule and laughter in the minds of those who are “purposeful” or “forerunners”, as the verse continues on to say, to the total inattention of those who have “darkened” themselves …]

33. Gardens of Eden, they enter them, they are lodged [we read “يُخلَون”] by knights from a far place, and [they entre in] brightness, and their dress [body] in it is free [from physical forces and desires],
[Of course, the hints to higher worlds and planets can be made only symbolically …
Hints to such worlds and planets are also in the Ghita and the Dharma,

If Islamic scholars insist on reading a paradise of food and sex in those verses: their followers are going to precipitate in a garden of apes, where nothing else matters …
Indeed, the Islamic version of paradise and salvation, of all the Islamic sects and schools of thought: is perhaps the lowest, among all other religions,
Don’t be deceived by the amelioration, whereby peace, love, harmony and closeness to the monotheist god are introduced, to make their paradise sound human and clever …]

34. And they said: “the homage is to God Who took [all] the sadness from us, indeed our Lord is Forgiving Grateful,
35. “Who lodged us in the circle/home of rectitude from His elevation, no tiredness touches us in it and no exhaustion”,
36. And those who distanced, they get the fire of the inferno, they are never terminated, so they die and the suffering is not mitigated for them, thus We reward every distancing one,
37. They cry out in it, “our Lord, if you took us out, we’ll do good, differently to what we were doing”; haven’t We prolonged [your lives] for as long a remembrance as one can remember? and the warner did come to you, so do experience [it], darkened ones have no supporters,
[When the “fire” and the “inferno” are known in their truth to be right in this world, the vengeful and sadistic god of monotheist religions is gone and defeated,

Abrahamic religions compete on who has the more compassionate god …!
But the gods which have forced the people to go in a world of suffering aren’t different. They continue sending them back to this world …: whether or not they’ve forgiven their sins, by whichever criterion …]

38. That God is the Knower of the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, is He the Knower of the Identity in the chests,
39. And it is He Who made you the inheritors in the earth, so whoever distances, their distancing is upon themselves, distance increases distant ones’ dislike only to their Lord [Islamic scholars read that god dislikes them], and distance increases only the loss of the distant ones,
[Yes, COB finds the word “distance” to convey most accurately the essence of kufr “
كفر", which points to going far in the wilderness …
So if we used “disbelief” occasionally, it’s to have the two essences combined, because distancing occurs upon disbelieving the Caller Who calls you not to go too far …]

40. Say: “have you seen your partners/affixes that you invoke below God? show me what they have created from the earth; or have they a share in the heavens? or have We brought to them a Book about which they are in certainty?”; nay, darkened ones promise one another none but illusion,
[Abrahamic religions’ affixes are none but their favourite prophets that they equate with god,
They ridicule each other’s affixes, but they don’t know that Time remits all again and again …
And they will be in shock when they find out that the prophets of other religions that they’ve ridiculed and hated are themselves their own prophets, or prominent personalities in their own religions …]

41. That God holds the heavens and the earth that they don’t vanish, and if they do vanish if He holds them only The One from His distance [we read "بُعده"], is He Loving Forgiving,
[The ongoing emergence of actuality from potentiality: is only possible because the Creator holds both simultaneously, by the Law …
The Universe as we know it is not the product of progress from crude energy to complex life …
And neither is it the work of a clever designer …
The creation of the world cannot be explained by concepts born in the world, but only by a direct witness of it, where it all begins and ends: in one’s own mind …]

42. And they swore solemnly by God, that if a warner came to them, they would be on more guidance than another nation, so when a warner did come to them: it increased them only in rejection,
[True knowledge is not an easy achievement, certainly it cannot be accomplished by the teaching of religions …
People find it incomprehensible … so they look for comfort in religious concepts, practices and traditions …]

43. Haughtiness in the earth, and the plotting of evil, and evil plotting besieges only its owners, so do they wait except for the law of the early ones? for, you [the messenger] won’t find for God’s Law an alteration, and you won’t find for God’s Law a diversion,
44. Have they not walked on the earth, to so see how was the consequence to those before them, and they were more powerful than them, and there’s nothing that makes God incapable in the heavens and the earth, is He All Knowing Capable of All,
[I don’t say it too often, if I said again that the ruins of past human civilisations are being examined finally, and alternative researchers are exposing the fallacies of religions and the academia about human existence on earth …
But religions and the academia aren’t going to give up quickly, they’re back to their research and excavations … to come up with new explanations,
They explain one thing, but a myriad of other things remains unexplained …
They don’t seem to understand what constitutes evidence and proof, and what belief is …
They conduct their research on the premise of their belief, hence they only affirm their positions ..
They find comfort in their belief, but soon the entire edifice of beliefs and pre-conceptions will fall apart, and religions and the academia will be most disappointed …]

45. And if God dealt the people what they have earned: He wouldn’t leave a walker on its [the earth’s] surface, but defers them He to an allotted term, when their term has come [to an end]: God is regarding the abiders in Him
