Surah 37

The Arrays

1. By the arrayed arrays,
2. The deterring in deterrence,
3. The announcers of the remembrance:
4. Your God is One,
5. Lord of the heavens and the earth and what’s between them, and the Lord of the Sunrises,
6. We have ornated the sky of the low world by an ornament of stars,
7. In protection from every disobedient demon,
8. They listen not to the high beings, and they are thrown from every side,
9. Vanquished, and to them is a suffering constant,
10. Except who were rescued [we read “
خُطِف"] the first rescue, and were led by a piercing white meteor,
[We come here to one of the Surahs which are understood to be about fairies and magic …
The god of monotheist religions is the most powerful wizard, in their small minds …
In their belief, the world is a battlefield of supernatural forces, and victory will be to their god …
In the mind frame of pagan people of old times …

There’s no benefit from re-writing this for the sake of making it discernible; it has to be witnessed and experienced …]

11. Confer with them, are they the more powerful creation, or those that We created? We created them [the former ones in the verse] from compound clay,
12. But you [the messenger] admire and they deride,
[Pointing to the different mind frames of humans …]

13. And if they are reminded, they remember not,
14. And if they see a Paragon, they are derisive,
15. And they said: “this is nothing but plain sorcery,
16. “So when we die and we turn to dust and bones, then are we remitted?
17. “So, what of our early ancestors?”
18. Say: “yea, and you are humiliated”,
19. There it is, just one call and they are looking,
20. And they say: “woe to us, this is redemption day”,
21. This is the day of separation that you have disbelieved,
22. Gather [addressing the high beings] those who wronged with their pairs and what they worshipped
23. below God, then lead them to the path of hell,
24. And do intercept them, they are to be questioned,
25. Why don’t you [addressing the pagan people] support one another?
26. But today they have submitted,
27. And they come to one another wondering,
28. They say [to their masters and gods]: “you used to come to us from the right side”,
29. They [their masters] say: “but you were non-believers,
30. “And we had no authority over you, but you were a tyrannical people,
31. “So our Lord’s judgement is due on us, that we are to experience,
32. “So We’ve deluded you, we have been deluders”,
33. Thus on that day, they are in the suffering partners,
34. This is what we inflict on the criminals,

35. They: when it is said to them there is no god except God, they become arrogant,
36. And they say: “are we to abandon our gods for an insane poet?”,
37. But he came with the Law and confirmed the messengers,
[The expression that we translated to “there is no god except God” is the first part of the shahada (witness) that the adopter of Islam has to say to confirm his/her faith, the second part of which is: “Muhammad is a messenger of God”,
Although the two statements separately express faith, it is the combination of them that has a philosophical connotation that doesn’t sit well with Tawheed (Union), or even with monotheism (the belief that there’s one god: the god that the believer believes in),
For the simple reason that it equates the witness of the Creator with that of the creation, and makes faith conditional to the belief in one particular prophet. In principle, this is the same error that has been made in Christianity, upon saying: “in the name of the Father, the son and the holy spirit”,
The witness of a created thing or a person is achieved by the senses or intellectually by learning,
All these are created things …The Creator of them cannot be known by them,
His Existence can be assumed faithfully intellectually, but it remains unprovable,
And if it could be proven: all the people would’ve believed, similarly to their belief in provable physical facts, and judgement would’ve been accomplished,
This is a philosophic proof that came in the Book of Platon of the Hikmah (
معراج الموحدين) which is on our website in English,
But it doesn’t seem that the Druze clergy have understood it, because they too believe that god manifested in the person of al-Mansoor, who titled himself al-Haakim, and thus Tawheed to them is the acknowledgement of al-Haakim,

Tawheed is an arrival or Union, in which the knowledge acquired by the senses, the intellect or philosophically: becomes inexistent …
That’s all that can be said about this …
And verse 35 is pointing to the refusal of religions to witness the Creator without associating Him with people, whether prophets or other …]

38. You are to experience severe suffering,
39. You are rewarded only what you have committed,
40. Except the faithful abiders in God,
41. Those have a determined providence:
42. Fruit/joy, and they are honoured,
43. In the Gardens of Bountifulness,
44. On seats facing one another,
45. Hovers above them … in a glass [by similarity only] of an infinite supply [of hovering power],
46. White it is, a pleasure to the travelers [I prefer to read “
للساربين”],
[And I’ll leave it to the reader’s memory/imagination to figure out what is being said …]

47. No chattering/nonsense is in them [the gardens] and no sinfulness,
48. And they have the lacking of extremities [we read “
الطَرَف”]: eyes,
49. As if white eggs concealed [elliptic shaped glow of light, with eyes concealed, that manifest upon contact …],

[Even if the reading of Islamic scholars is to be taken, there’s nothing in those verses or the other ones, in which a description of “paradise” is featured: there’s nothing at all in them that mentions sex slaves lining up waiting for the pious arriving Muslims …, and there’s no mention of sex at all …
This is the desire of their own selves, and the ultimate purpose that they have adopted for their lives …!
This Page calls on those of them who still have a shimmer of humanity in them: to turn away from such a paradise, that can be conceived only in the absence of virtue, and can be bought by pagan rituals and crime; a garden for the apes and a low station of existence: as those verses continue on …]

50. So they come to one another [the inhabitants of the high worlds] wondering,
51. Said one of them: “I used to have a companion,
52. “Saying: ‘are you of the believers?
53. “‘When we die and turn to dust and bones, are we indebted?’”
[Of course, the men of religions will say that accountability is to their gods and their shariah,
The shariah that they learned in one lifetime, that they took as the law of their existence …!]

54. Said [another one]: “are you looking down?”
55. So he [the first one] looked and saw him [the companion] on the level of the low world,
56. Said he: “O my God, if Thou hast ruled harshly, Thou wouldst lower me,
57. “And if it wasn’t for my Lord’s grace, I would’ve been reduced [we read “
المُخصرين"],
58. "Hence, are we not dead,
59. “Except our first death [as in the last physical existence(s)]? and we are not made to suffer [again],
60. “This is indeed the greatest of all achievements”,
[I’ll leave this to the pondering of those who still have a shimmer of life in them …]

61. For a similar to this should the strivers strive,
62. Is this a better dwelling or the tree of Zaqoom,
[The Aswattha tree in the Ghita is described to be the tree of karmic activity and the fruit of it. Its roots being rooted in hell, and its branches reach the heavens,
The seeker of freedom is not tempted by its good karmic fruit, and nor fearful of its evil origins,
The Aim is to cut its roots and branches in oneself …, in order to free oneself from good and bad karma alike …]

63. We have made it a lure to the darkened ones,
64. It is a tree coming out of the origin of hell,
65. Its fruit is as if heads of demons,
[Early memories of it are the miserable souls stuck in its temptations of endless potentialities …
They dwell in it and look out to invite wandering onlookers …
They speak like philosophers, they preach like educators, they lecture like scientists, they sermon like saints …
They say they can rule the worlds they have seen and have understood them …
They say: "come down to my world" …,
Out of human kindness good souls listen to them and feel sorry for them … and try to make sense of their illusions …, so the illusions can be de-illusioned by their essences, whether knowingly or spontaneously … ]

66. They have eaten from it to their stomachs’ content,
67. And from it they have a cocktail of lava,
[The likeness of which is the stuff that bubbles out of the earth, like lava, crude oil and gas … and the many other forms of human greed and multiplication, used for expanding human civilisation and material possessions …, from dark matter: to every raw material …]

68. Then they are returned indeed to hell,
69. They have found their ancestors bewildered,
70. And to their footprints they rush,
71. And before them, most of the early ones were bewildered,
72. And We sent warners amongst them,
73. Look around, you’ll see what the fate of the warned ones was,
74. Except the faithful abiders in God,

75. And Noah called out to Us, [behold,] the best of the responders,
76. And We rescued him and his kin from the great calamity,
77. And We made his descendants, them, the survivors,
78. And We left upon him in the late ones,
[The translation is literal, in order to preserve a number of connotations and allusions.]

79. The peace be upon Noah in the worlds,
80. Thus We reward the radiant ones,
81. Is he of Our faithful abiders in Us,
82. Then We drowned the others,
[The terms “
ألأولين و الآخرين” which have featured in the Qur’an and later in the Hikmah:
In our opinion they refer to the people who were salvaged at the end of the previous cycle of human existence, which ended with the drowning of Atlantis, and major catastrophic events elsewhere …
And as mentioned before, there’s now evidence that a huge meteor hit the earth close to Greenland around 12,000 years ago, which would’ve had a disastrous impact …, and COB has described a long period of a constant overcast and torrential rain, and a rise of sea levels … preceding the complete drowning of Atlantis …

During this period which lasted a few years … “Noah”, accompanied by a messenger, was informed about the certain destiny of his nation, embarked on building the arks, to have on them members of the different tribes, who believed him and were willing to join …
Whoever were salvaged or taken on the arks are referred to, in this instance, as the “first or early ones”,
And towards the end of this cycle, they are the “last or late ones”,

Of course, the men of religion would have their own definitions: pointing to their own tribes, religions and races …
The stronger their belief in their self-judgement, the more painful their disappointment is going to be,
Thus, the drowning is both metaphorical and actual.]

83. And from his creed is Abraham,
84. Who came to his Lord with a sound heart,
85. As he said to his father and his people: “what do you worship?
86. “A fake god inferior to God do you want?
87. “What is your reckoning to the Lord of the worlds?”,
88. So, he took a look onto the stars [stars, moon and sun are symbolic of messengers],
89. And said he: “I am sick”,
90. So, they [the stars] turned away from him and left,
91. So, he turned to their [his people’s] gods and said: “do you not eat?,
92. “Why don’t you speak?”,
93. So he turned to them [his people] in an offence to/by the right-hand,
94. So they [his people] came to him promptly,
95. Said he: “do you worship what you sculpture?
96. “And it is God Who created you and what you make”,
97. They said: “build for him a building” so they threw him in hell,
98. They plotted ill for him, so We made them the lowest,
99. And said he: “I am going to my Lord, He will guide me,
[Perhaps the stories which tell Abraham’s philosophic inquisitions: tell about the birth of monotheism,
What is new in this: is that monotheism, as alluded to here, and as its confusion is exhibited in the present, after a few thousand years of its conception: is not the ultimate philosophical knowledge and nor the guarantor of human salvation, but indeed one elementary stage of intellectual and spiritual development,

So, Abraham’s people, the descendants of Noah’s people: who suffered a destructive destiny: are now being tried once again …
Will they reunite with their cosmic origin, or do they want a third-party god?
So, if the god was represented by statues then, and progressed to be represented by other forms of structures … and indeed by people: will the people of Abraham be able to break all the representations: driven by the same rational thinking as he was: when he broke their stone gods??
This is the questions which still nags Abrahamic religions,
And as long as their religions are clashing, ideologically and in every other way: they have not broken their stone gods …
Those gods have reincarnated as multiple gods in many forms … and the Creator of the world is still a concept to them: and their return to Him has not been achieved.]

100. “My Lord, bestow Thou upon me [a son] of the righteous ones”,
101. So We gave him the glad tidings of a loving boy,
102. So when he [his son] attained the pursuit [of adulthood and knowledge seeking] with him, said he: “my son, I see in my sleep that I cut/slaughter you, so you look what you see”; said he: “my father, do what you are commanded, and you will find me, God willing, forbearing”,
103. So when they surrendered and he [Abraham] tilted him to the forehead,
104. And We called him: “O Abraham,
105. “You have realised the vision!”, thus We reward the radiant ones,
106. This is indeed a distancing/clear woe,
107. And We ransomed him by a great cut/slaughter,
108. And We left upon him in the late ones,
109. The peace be upon Abraham,
110. Thus We reward the radiant ones,
111. Is he of our faithful abiders in Us,
112. And We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous ones,
113. And We blessed him and Isaac, and of their descendants are radiant and self-darkening dissidents,
[The son that is mentioned in this narrative, before the mention of Isaac, is not Isaac or Ismael,
COB has argued that this was Zimran, whose name in the Qur’an is spelled as “
عمران", a little known one of Abraham’s sons,
His story has been told on our Website,
From Sarah’s mouth the correct version of the story was confirmed to us, whether people want to believe it or not is their choice,
In the end, a god who commands his prophet to slaughter his son is a god of human fabrication, is not worth a worship, and couldn’t have created the world, and has a despotic ruler’s insecurity about his subjects’ loyalty to him,

The slaughter ritual which accompanies Eid al-Adha festivities, where sheep are dragged in the streets and slaughtered with complete disregard to their suffering, and for their meat to be often thrown in the garbage to rot, in the belief that this makes god happy: ought to stop completely, if Muslims want to leave pagan rituals behind them and be a model to the world, as they would like to be,
Also the ritual of circulating around the stone, which had been the practice of pre-Islamic pagan religions: ought to stop,

And Hajj, which means proof, is not conditional to the financial status of the believers …
In fact, it is more difficult for the wealthy to approach their Lord, than it is for the poor, as all the Books have declared,
Hajj is open to whoever is capable to a way to Him,

This Page has explained the significance of Eid al-Adha, and translated its name to the “Festival of Light”,
When the “angels” descend with the Spirit in them, as the Grand Qur’an announced, opening the gates of a true witness of Truth to every capable soul.]

114. And We obliged Moses and Aaron,
115. And We rescued them and their people from the great calamity,
116. And We supported them and they were, them, the victors,
117. And We brought to them the Book that is discriminant,
118. And We guided them to the straight strata [a paved way],
119. And We left upon them in the late ones,
120. The peace be upon Moses and Aaron,
121. It is thus that We reward the radiant ones,
122. Are they of Our faithful abiders in Us,
123. And Elias is indeed one of the messengers,
124. When he said to his people: “do you not take refuge?
125. “Do you invoke a [pagan] god and dismiss the Gracious Creator?
126. “God, your Lord and the Lord of your early ancestors”,
127. So, they falsified him, and hence they are reduced [we read “
مخصرون"],
128. Except the faithful abiders in God,
129. And We left upon him in the late ones,
130. The peace be upon Al Ya Seen,
131. It is thus that We reward the radiant ones,
132. Is he of Our faithful abiders in Us,
[The spelling of Elias’s name as Al Ya Seen: points to his being the incarnation of the Peace, as the Radiant Summa feature in Surah 59,
Let’s not forget that the Gospels stated that John the Christ (Baptist) was the incarnation of Elia,

COB has been correcting the names and the titles of the messengers and the prophets, according to the Books themselves, which have been horrendously distorted by religious authorities, to suit their political agendas and to fuel their religious bigotries,

If what’s been provided can’t be taken as evidence, it should at least cast doubt on commonly accepted beliefs and nomenclatures, so that the divisions between religions are set on a mending destiny,
Otherwise, the dwelling on the status quo will only make the gaps wider, to the point that a total breakdown becomes inevitable, by the natural laws of the world.]

133. And Lott is one of the messengers,
134. When We rescued him and his kin altogether,
135. Except an old woman in the Hebrew [a possible reading is “
ألعابرين"],
136. Then/and We destroyed the others,
137. And you pass by them in the morns,
138. And also by night, don't you discern?
[On previous occasions COB has argued that the story of Lott happened in a pre-ancient cycle preceding even the last one …
The name of Hebrew, however, which is the most likely reading, refers to the contemporary Hebrew people in everyone’s mind,
Although the mainstream Qur’anic as well as Biblical interpreters read that the old woman was not rescued: the logical sequence of the aforementioned verses suggests that she was, except the others: if the exception is applied to the following verse rather than the preceding one, which is linguistically possible …
If a similar calamity happened in the current cycle of time, it would have to be referring to whatever happened to the city of Palmyra, as some Israeli historians have been suggesting …
The name Lott in this case would have to be taken as an incarnation of the other Lott …
Similar events are often played out by the same personalities, giving everyone involved in them multiple chances to reconsider their standing and correct previous mistakes …]

139. And Jonah is one of the messengers,
140. When he sneaked to the loaded planet,
141. He contributed [to the activity] so he was failed,
142. So the dragon/whale swallowed him and had only himself to blame,
143. And if he hadn’t been a transcending one,
144. He would’ve sojourned in its stomach until the day they [the inhabitants of the planet] are resurrected,
145. So we ostracised him in the wilderness while he was ill,
146. And We grew on him a grain bearing tree,
147. And We sent him to a hundred thousand or more,
148. So they believed, and We let them rejoice for a term,
[The fairytale-like events of this story: refer to far past events, where in a different universe the physical laws are different,
Firstly, the descent to a low planet,
Then, going inside a dragon’s stomach was an adventure that many souls decided to undertake, long before planetary worlds in the shape that we know were conceived,
If they conquered the hell inside it, they come out: and the dragon is a deflated rubber monster,
And they realise that the fears they faced inside the dragon’s stomach: were in fact inside their heads,
The mention of it here, however, is metaphorical,
Every adventure in a low world can be likened to an adventure inside the dragon,

As for the grain bearing tree: one of the signs of enlightenment is the appearance of coloured spots on various parts of the skin, resembling plants or just in random shapes,
They last up to two weeks, and go through stages of colour changes,
The only reference to this phenomenon other than the Qur’an is the Buddhist Dharma, I found out recently,

Perhaps some people’s passion with tattoos is an unfulfilled desire from a far past deep in their psyches,
I hope that this human feature does return in the future, so that enlightened people can be identified physically.]

149. Confer with them, are they for your Lord the females, and for them are the males?
150. Or did We create the angels as females, while they witnessed,
151. Indeed, it’s their own fabrication that they say:
152. That God gave birth! They are dishonest,
153. Did He select the females over the males?
154. What’s it with you? how do you judge?

155. Do you not remember?
156. Or do you have an outstanding authority?
157. Bring forth your Book, if you are honest,
[Those words should be said today to all Abrahamic religions, which, each have a fallacy about the creation of the people and the angels and demons, and the residents of paradise,
I can almost read Books of future cycles, which will mention the insanity of the pagan beliefs of our present time, for the people to laugh: and indeed, to question their own beliefs and submit them to a rational test,
If people can step outside the contours of their beliefs: they will be laughing at them: ahead of their time,
That’s better for them,
Laughter can be the triumph over insanity.]

158. And they claimed kinship between Him and the Gone people [Jin], and the Gone people do know they have been reduced [مُخصرون],
159. Transcends God what they describe,
160. Except the faithful abiders in God,
161. For, you and what you worship:
162. Can lure not by it [the claim]:
163. Except those who attend hell,
[Indeed, many of the deified people are said to descend from a lineage thought to be holy, and they are no one but residents of the low world.]

164. And none of Us: but having a recognised station,
165. We are the Arrayers/Arrays,
166. We are the transcending ones,
167. And if they were to say:
168. “Had we had a reminder from the early ones,
169. “We would’ve been the faithful abiders in God”,
170. They disbelieved it [the remembrance], they shall hence find out,
171. And our Word has forerun to our abiders in Us, the messengers,
172. It is them: the triumphant ones,
173. And Our army is, them, the conquerors,
174. Do forsake them [addressing the messenger] until a term,
175. Keep watchful of them, and they will be watched,
176. Are they to our suffering hastening?
177. For, when He descends to their battlefields, bad is the morning of the warned ones,
178. And do forsake them for a term,
179. Keep watchful, and they will be watched,
180. Transcends your Lord, Lord of the Magnificence, what they describe,
181. And the peace be upon the messengers,
182. And the homage is to God the Lord of the worlds
