Surah 45

The Kneeling

1. Haa Meem (ح م),
2. The descent of the Book from God the Exalted the Sovereign,
3. That in the skies and the earth are marvels to the believers,
4. And in the creation of you [the people] and what spread, of walkers on the earth: are marvels to a people who are certain,
5. And the difference of night and day, and what God dropped of providence, so He enlivened the earth after its death by it, and the wind currents: are marvels to the people who discern,
6. These are God’s verses We recite them to you [the messenger] by the Law, so in which discourse after God and His verses do they believe?
7. Woe to every faker sinner,
8. He hears God’s verses being recited to him then insists on being arrogant, as if he heard none; give him the tiding of painful suffering,
9. And if he learns something from Our verses: he takes it derisively, those have a demeaning suffering,
10. From behind them is hell, their earnings make them not unneedy in anything, nor who they took of patrons below God, and to them is a great suffering,
[The hell being “behind” tells a lot that has escaped interpreters …
Hell leads to more of it …]

11. This is guidance, and those who darkened to their Lord’s verses have a suffering from painful roughness,
12. God is He Who dedicated the sea to you, for the orbiting planets to travers it by His Aim, and for you to seek elevation, and may you be thankful,
13. And dedicated He what’s in the heavens and what’s in the earth altogether from Him, indeed in this are miracles to the people who reflect,

14. Say to those who have believed to forgive those who beg not for God’s days, so He rewards people by what they were earning,
[Islamic scholars have all visited hell and paradise, and have witnessed the day when people are judged, and have hence given a detailed account of what happens there and who is in need of their pardon …!
Their interpretation hasn’t benefitted them in any way, except that it widened the rift between them and other religions …
But the obvious essence is unwanted, not only by them, but by all other religions which preceded them or came after …
Perhaps the Buddhists are the only “religion” which teaches forgiveness: unlimited,
Not as a requirement from a god for piety and holiness, but as a law that breaks the karmic cycle,
Forgiveness that extends even to the worst of doers, and the bearers of the heaviest burdens …
Because without it: the cycle of reward and punishment won’t end …
Forgiveness is the bridge between all kinds of rifts, and its reward is the absence of them, and the end of reward and punishment.]

15. Who does good, it’s for themselves, and who does bad, it’s upon them, then to your Lord you are returned,
16. And We’ve brought to the people of Israel the Book and the sovereignty and the prophethood, and We provided them of [all] the good, and We elevated them above the worlds,
17. And We brought to them clarification from the Aim, they did not differ except after knowledge had come to them in dissention between themselves; that your Lord rules between them the day of the Up-rise in what they have been differing,
18. Then We had you [the messenger] over the shariah from the Aim, do follow it, and follow not the passions of those who know not,
[The frequent mention of the people of Israel in the Qur’an confirms that these were the people to whom the Qur’an was addressed, the people of Quraysh and the many other Arab tribes …: in their tongue,
The wars between them which had persisted after thousands of years had not ended, and the Qur’an was attempting to unify them, as the Surah of Quraysh (106) clearly speaks,
The status of the Muslims now is not any different to what it was before or after the Qur’an,
Have they noticed?
Their differences will bring on their total destruction, exactly as this grand Book has warned them,
If they want to survive as a culture and as a nation … they had better start going by the shariah that is in the Qur’an, not the one that each party of them have fabricated,
The Shariah (law) that is in the Qur’an teaches the highest human moral and intellectual standards, that is in all the Books, if they and all their enemies and rivals haven’t noticed …]

19. They will not make you [the messenger] needless of God in anything; the darkened ones: some of them are masters of some, and God is the Master of the refuging ones,
20. This is vision to the people and guidance, and compassion to a people who are in certitude,
21. Or did those who perpetrated ill think that We make them like those who believed and did good? equal are their life and their death, and bad is what they judge,
22. And created the heavens and the earth: God, by the Law, and so that every self is rewarded by what she earned, and they are not wronged,
[The spread of the selves precedes the creation of the worlds,
Contrary to evolution and Creation theories …
Mankind is not made from the stuff of the world,
But indeed, the world is the extension of mankind,
Hence our frequent statement: the man is the universe and the universe is the man.]

23. Have you seen him who has taken his passions as his god, and God bewildered him over knowledge, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and made on his vision obscurity, so who can guide him after God, do you not remember?
[Just to emphacise that it is the causality that has been emphacised,
The passions of people are their causes …
Those obscure their minds and hearts by their passions …
The gods of Abrahamic religions: are the passions of the different groups of them,
Hence, upon reading this: Islamic interpreters and Qur’anic haters alike: read that the god of Muslims favours the Muslims and punishes non-Muslims by making them dislike Islam …!
And of course, the same formula is applied in other religions, only the names are different,
Hence the emphasis on purifying oneself from all passions, in all religions and esoteric philosophies, from the Far East to the West,
“Do you not remember?” is a question that has been asked every time such universal truths are retold,
Because, whether people remember or not, they have been given such warnings repeatedly …, in every Book and every message.]

24. And they said: “it’s only our low life, we die and we live, and nothing causes our demise except destiny”, and they have no knowledge of this, they are only suspecting,
25. And if Our verses were recited to them clearly, they had no argument except that they said; “bring to us our fathers if you were honest”,
26. Say: “God enlivens you then deadens you, then gathers you [all], to the day of the Up-rise, no doubt about it”, but most people know not,
27. And to God is the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and the day the Hour holds: those who have falsified lose,
28. And you see every nation kneeling, every nation being called to her Book, the day you are rewarded what you were doing,
29. This is Our Book uttering the Law upon you, that We have been transcribing what you were doing,
30. As for those who have believed and did good: enters them God in His compassion, this is the greatest success,
31. And as for those who disbelieved: “have My verses not been recited to you, and you were arrogant and were a criminal people?”,
[Verse 28 is indeed the centre of this Surah,
In it, it is clearly declared that every nation will be judged by its Book,
The Book which has been uttering the Law to all of them,
The misinterpretation, however, has followed the same pattern: the transcription of bewilderment, using different names and dictionaries to point to the local god …, in all religions and sects thereof,
The “Book” is a word that has been used in the Qur’an to point to all the Books, without specifying particular titles and without an exception,
The Law of causality and of abiding by the highest human standard has been one in all the Books,
People are not required to learn a foreign language, or to accept as true what the men of religion recount to them of miracles and signs that they have not witnessed …
The Books and messages do not override one another, and neither do they bar future messages,
If the people of religions are honest about believing in One God, those verses become the logical conclusion,
They are not meant to be accepted because a particular god of a particular religion has declared them,
They are only a logical conclusion to the starting point of Oneness,
And yes, it is only arrogance that blinds the people from coming to such a concurrence,
So, as this Page points you in the direction of the truths that can be universally accepted: your response is: you don’t have an exclusive knowledge of it …!
No one does …
But it is only because universal truths threaten your beliefs that you reject them, regardless of who said them ...]

32. And if it is said that God’s promise is Law and that the Hour is without a doubt, you said: “what is the hour? we only think [our] thoughts, and we aren’t certain”,
33. And they appeared to them: the ills of what they did, and surrounded them what they have been derisive of,
34. And it is said to them: “today We forget you like you forgot the encounter of this day of yours, your shelter is the fire and you have no supporters,
[Indeed, the people of religions are in a constant denial of karmic laws, even if the consequences of their thoughts and deeds are quite obvious,
They blame a third party god or a devil, their enemies and their friends,
Hence their prognosis of their illnesses is never correct, and the remedy they demand is never useful,
But to the contrary, the remedy they demand will only worsen their condition, and if the roots of their illnesses are shown to them they become derisive.]

35. This is that you took God’s Paragons derisively, and the low lives have lured you, so today they exit not from it and they do not ask to be excused,
36. To God is the Homage, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the worlds,
37. To Him is the Grandeur in the heaves and the earth is He the Exalted the Sovereign
