Surah 46

The Sand Dunes

1. Haa Meem (ح م)
2. The descent of the Book, from God the Exalted the Sovereign,
3. We created not the heavens and the earth but by the Law and [to] an allotted term, and those who distanced from what they were warned about are dissenters,
4. Say: “have you seen what you invoke below God? show me what they’ve created from the earth; or have they a share in the heavens? bring me a book from before this, or a legacy of knowledge, if you were honest”,
[“Bring me a book from before this”: is meant to confirm that the Book is one, and teaches the same, hence the commandment to believe all the Books in this very Book,
To interpret the statement as a rejection of the previous Books is fraudulence that has led to believing in multiple gods and religions, and wars which won’t end until the total destruction of all such religions.]

5. And who is more bewildered than him who invokes below God [things and people] who respond not to him to the day of the Up-rise, and they [the latter] are about their invocations oblivious,
6. And when the people are gathered, they are enemies/forerunners to them, and in their worship: they are disbelievers,
[As has been said many times on COB, that all the masters that religions have taken do not believe in what the people believe,
They are cleverer, and way ahead of them spiritually and intellectually, despite their big egos and self-glorification,
Many of them are listening to this Page in their hiding, believing what has come in it: because it talks to their minds and to the spark of truth in the depth of their selves,
And those who are doing their best to keep their followers in the abyss of darkness and ignorance, and the morality of subservience to them and their god of reward and punishment: believe that they can dodge the march of Time,
Those will be the biggest losers. Their errors are irrecoverable by their same errors, and Time will erase their legacy in a fraction of a second.]

7. And when Our verses are recited to them clearly/correctly, those who distanced to the Law when it came to them say: “this is obvious sorcery”,
8. Or do they say: “he fretted it”, say: “you reign nothing for me from God, is He Better Knower of what you venture in, suffices He as a witness between me and you, is He Exalted Compassionate”,
9. Say: “I’ve not been an excellence of messengers, and I know not what is being done to me or to you, I follow none but what’s inspired to me, and I’m no one but a clarifying warner”,
10. Say: “have you seen if it was from God’s servant [we read “
عبد"] and you disbelieved it? and a witness from the people of Israel has witnessed to a similar to it, so he believed and you looked down [on it], God guides not darkened people”,
[Confirming what has been said on this Page many times.]

11. And those who disbelieved say to those who believed: “were what they preceded us to: good …”: and as they haven’t been guided by it: they will [continue to] say: “this is ancient falsehood”,
[When the essence is obscured to the reader, the content of their mind is exposed.]

12. And before it, the Book of Moses, an aim/imam, and this Book conforms [to it], in a tongue Arabic, to warn them who darkened, and glad tidings to the radiant ones,
[If you still have doubt in your minds.]

13. That those who said: “our Lord is God then they straightened, no fear is over them, and they grieve not,
14. Those are the people of the garden, eternal in it, and a reward of what they were doing,
15. And We’ve commanded man: radiantly with his Parents, carried him: his mother despitefully, and delivered him despitefully, his conception and his disconnection [are] thirty months, so that when he attains his strength and reaches forty years, says he: “my Lord employ me that I thank Thy Providence that Thou bestowedest onto me and my Parents, and that I do good that Thou art content with, and reformest Thou in my seed, I have repented to Thee, and I am of the Muslims”,
[Confirmation of what came in the Ten Commandments …
COB has argued that the Parents aren’t meant to be solely one’s parents in one’s life time, but indeed Adam and Eve, being the Whole Mind and the Whole Self, if the ancient Greek and the Hikmah’s terminology is used.
The conception and the delivery despitefully are reminders of the original pain that the Self had to endure upon experiencing the pleasure of Adam’s apple, which resulted in growth in her “stomach”, and her Lord said to her: “deliver your conception”, and the universe rumbled underneath her and departed,
Procreation and karmic laws were thus experienced,
The number of months and years mentioned are perhaps referring to early time cycles that are projected in the known time measurements, and should not be taken as precise scientific information,
The messengers’ Word doesn’t have to describe physical phenomena scientifically in order for it to prove its truthfulness.]

16. Those are them on whose behalf We accept the best of what they did, and We overlook their misdeeds; have come back [we read “فاء”] the people of the garden, [this is] the promise of truth that they were promised,

17. And the one who said to his Parents “pshaw to both of you, do you both promise me that I will be brought out, and centuries have passed before me”, and both were calling God for rescue, “woe to you, do believe, God’s promise is true”, so he says: “this is none but the scripts of the early ones”,
18. Those are them upon whom the say is due, [as] nations passed before them, of the Gone [people] (Jinn) and the people, that they were losers,
19. And to each [of them] are grades of what they did, and so that He pays them back their deeds, and they are not wronged,
20. And the day those who distanced are subjected to the fire, “you have squandered your good things in your low life, and have enjoyed them, so today you are rewarded by the suffering of subservience to what you’ve been looking down on in the earth by lawlessness, and by what you were aberrating,
[Yes, the messages become an obligation upon those who don’t believe them …
Religions, ruling by tyranny and ruthlessness: are none but the low projection of the messages,
If people can’t believe their essence: they have to follow their mundane laws …
Every religion has gone through such a stage of development,
We’ve said it on this Page, many times …
And although their followers say they are faithful, in fact they are resentful and spiteful, they only fear the punishment of a sadistic and draconian god …
This has been the story of all Abrahamic religions …]

21. And when Ad’s [Eden’s] brother is mentioned, when he warned his people in the Sand Dunes, and warners had gone between his hands and from behind him [present and past], that abide by no one except God, I fear for you the suffering of a great day,
[COB has narrated the story of Hud (
هود), one of the Brethren of messengers, who came to the earth hundreds of millions of year ago, when the earth was being destroyed by industry and energy production and consumption, similarly to today’s world,
The sand in such huge amounts was a biproduct of a bacterial life cycle, which was farmed to produce hydrogen …
The “Fire” in the Books is none but the world which is fueled by “energy” as we know it today …
Science and religion alike … each in their own way: worship the “fire”,
The fire lights up the world, feeds them, builds their cities, moves their motorcars and flies their aero planes …, and they can’t conceive an existence beyond it, even if an invisible spiritual world is assumed: it remains only as an assumption.]

22. They said: “have you come to us to fake us about our gods? bring forth what you’ve promised us if you were honest”,
23. Said he: “the knowledge is in God, and I promulgate to you what I was sent with, but I see you a people ignorant”,
24. So when they saw him projecting/forecasting the future [we read “
مستقبَل”] of their detriment/farness they said: “this one [the messenger] is forecasting our befall/rainfall [we read “ممطرَنا"]”, nay, it is what you hastened to, a spirit/wind, in it is painful suffering,
25. Destroying everything by its God’s Aim, so they became: none can be seen except their residence [the physical world], thus We reward the criminal people,
26. And We have established them in what We have established them in, and We made for them hearing and vision and hearts, but their hearing, their vision and their hearts did not make them needless of anything, since they were repudiating God’s Paragons, and surrounded them what they were being derisive of,
[And as COB has said before, our sensory organs determine our sector of perception and the physical laws that we can notice … and those dictate a whole lot of things, including religions …
So it seems that the people in that time were capable of vision beyond physical perception, and their messenger was able to show them a glimpse of what might befall them if they continued on their track …
So in their next life cycle their vision was limited to physical perception, like today’s humans …
The narration is about the end of a time cycle and the start of a new one …
A similar reduction has happened around 12000 years ago,
The megaliths of that time tell the story of humans in a different genesis, capable of perceiving and utilising subatomic “frequencies” that science has yet to detect,
Can today’s sciences lead to such knowledge?
Perhaps this is mankind’s challenge,
But if morality is at such a level, not higher by one iota than that of the apes, and lions and the hyenas: humanity will bring on its own total destruction: by its cleverness …]

27. And We’ve devastated what’s around you of cities, and We’ve articulated the verses, may they return,
28. If only those whom they took below God as a godly approach: supported them; nay, they lost them, and this is their faking and what they were fretting,
29. And when We directed to you [the messenger] a few of the Gone people to listen to the Qur’an, so when they attended it, they said: “listen”, so when it was concluded they turned to their people warning,
30. They said: “O people, we’ve heard a Book descended after Moses, conforming to what’s be-tween his [Moses’s] hands, guiding to the Law, and to a straight path,
31. “O people, respond to the caller to God and do believe in it, may He forgive your errors and bring you out from painful suffering,
32. “And who responds not to the caller to God: is not invincible in the earth, and has no master below Him, those are in obvious bewilderment”,
[Islamic scholars would like us to believe that these were ghosts of jinn who were eavesdropping to the Qur’an from a supernatural world …
The term Gone people (Jinn) is used to refer to clever and highly skilled people of the time,
And in most cases, such people are more inclined to be subscribing to materialist ideologies …
The correlation between materialism and cleverness can be explained by the urge to be self-dependent,
Hence the trust in one’s own thinking abilities and skills, and the development of them …
As opposed to the reliance on a god who demands the practice of rituals and the abidance by his supposed laws …
The former mode of thinking leads to worldly achievements, and the latter leads to stagnation and stupor,
And it doesn’t seem that any civilisation, past or present, has been able to tread the path be-tween/above those two,
This Page has expressed this a few times …
And ever since the Ghita called the former mode of thinking “raja”, and the latter “tama”, humans, as individuals and as nations, have been generally divided into those two classes …
The third Way cannot be expressed by a set of instruction,
The best way to put it is by saying: the knowledge of the Law,
In the Ghita it is “sattva”, that COB calls harmony,
The Law is known by a deep connection inside one’s own mind,
And Union (Tawheed) is a rank above all the three modes of existence.

The mention of Moses confirms what COB has been saying, that Mohammed was an incarnation of Moses,
So it seems that the verse is based upon a meeting that took place, in which individuals from a different sect of Judaism were able to recognise the Book as their Book, and to recognise Moses.]

33. Have they not seen that God Who created the heavens and the earth and was not fatigued by the creation of them: is Capable of enlivening the dead? yea, is He, of everything, Capable,
34. And when those who have distanced are subjected to the fire: “isn’t this the Law?”, they said: “indeed, by our Lord it is”, said he [the messenger]: “hence experience the suffering of what you were disbelieving”,
35. So be patient like the Wielders of Resolve of the Messengers were patient, and hasten not for them, it’s as though the day they see what they were promised: they haven’t sojourned for one hour of a day that is completed [we read “
بَلَغَ”], so who disintegrates except aberrant people?
