Surah 52

The Tor

1. By the Tor,
[The word “tor” does mean mount in English as well, hence our preservation of it,
The Tor that is being sworn by is not the mountain of Sinai, as Jewish and Islamic interpreters would like to believe, but indeed the mountain in now Jerusalem,
This is where the Light effulged, not only to Moses, as religions would like to believe, but indeed to all of humanity, and it could be seen from everywhere else in the world,
And this was right at the beginning of the last six thousand years of human history, declaring Nearness, however far the distance and however base the inferno,
And this happened after a major destruction of previous civilisations …
The Manifestation to the Mount, mentioned in the Qur’an, the Hikmah, and I’m sure in other more ancient Books, if one searches …: is an Event that humanity waits for, to affirm its allegiance, wherever it has invested it …]

2. By the penned Book,
3. In the tenderness propagated,
4. By the Established House,
5. By the Elevated Canopy,
6. By the Exacerbated Ocean,
7. That the suffering of your Lord is actual,
[Yes, the original Arabic wording does have two meanings, and it is up the reader to conceive the one that fits their belief …]

8. Nothing has it to hold it back,
9. The day when the sky melts meltingly,
10. And the mountains move movingly,
11. Woe then to the liars,
12. Those who, in a commotion, have been playing,
13. The day they will be tucked in the fire of the inferno tuckedly,
14. This is the fire by which you have been lying,
15. So, is this magic, or [that] you [the people] don’t see?
16. Attend it [the fire], and whether patient or impatient, it is equal to you, that you are rewarded what you’ve been doing,
17. That the refuging ones are in the gardens of providence,
18. Happy with what their Lord brought to them, and protected them their Lord from the suffering of the inferno,
19. Eat and drink contentedly by what you’ve been doing,
20. Leaning on coaches arrayed, and We’ve paired them with wandering eyes,
21. And those who believed and We made them follow [we read “
أتبعناهم"] their offspring by faith: We made their offspring follow them; We diminished none of their deeds by anything, and every person is captive of what he/she has earned,
[Saying that generations of people are none but the same people … in the endless cycle of karmic eventuality …]

22. And We supplied them with fruit and meat/substance of what they desire,
[It’s up to the believers in the Qur’an to limit their desire to food, or to desire something more substantial and more essential …
That’s really the choice all the followers of Abrahamic religions have to make: however higher their station of awareness than that of the Muslims they believe it to be …]

23. Pulling backward and forward a cup, no nonsense is in it and no sinfulness,
24. Hover above them young men for them, like concealed pearls,
[The similarity to “concealed pearls” is hinting to the essence that is hidden in the roughness, hence our understanding of the verse to be entirely metaphorical …]

25. Came some of them to some of them asking,
26. Said they: “that we were before in our Parents sympathisers,
27. “So, God obliged us, and protected us from the suffering of toxicity [we read “
السُّموم”],
28. “That we were before calling Him, that He is Fidelity [and] Compassion”,

29. So, do remind [addressing the messenger], for, you are, about your Lord’s providence neither a guesser nor a madman,
30. Or do they say: “a [mere] poet, we are watchful of him until [we read “
ريث"] death",
31. Say: "be watchful, I am with you of the watchful ones”,
32. Or is it their dreams that command them to this? or are they a tyrannical people?
33. Or do they say: “he’s making it up”? nay, they don’t believe,
34. That they bring a discourse similar, if they were honest,
35. Or were they created from nothing, or are they the creators?
36. Or did they create the heavens and the earth? nay, they are uncertain,
37. Or do they have your Lord’s registers, or are they the dominant ones?
38. Or do they have a ladder by which they eavesdrop? So let their eavesdropper come with a decisive authority,
39. Or are the females His, and the males are yours [the people's]?
40. Or are you asking them for a payment, they are hence, from a penalty, overloaded?
41. Or do they have the unseen, they hence transcribe?
42. Or do they want to plot? for, those who have darkened are them the victims of a plot,
43. Or do they have a god other than God? transcend God what they affix,
44. And if they see a revelation [we read “
كشفًا”] from the sky falling, they say: “piled-up clouds”,
[The rhetorical questions are highlighting the fallacies of religions and materialistic ideologies … all together,
Not one group of Abrahamic religion is exempt from verses 37 and 38, if they are capable of reading Arabic, and now English …


And again, I say, this is not true because it came in a Book, but because it is the innateness of the human mind, if they understand …

The mention of the females being god’s and the males being theirs: is hinting to the tradition of killing the females alive in then Arabia, in the pretextual belief that they are god’s,
Although the belief has been dropped, the practice in all Abrahamic religions hasn’t, and women are still being subjected to torture and death when the tradition of conserving the tribe’s honour calls for it.]

45. So, do leave them [addressing the messenger], until they meet the day of theirs, when they are thunder bolted,
46. When their plots make them not unneeding of anything, and they are not made triumphant,
47. And to those who darkened is suffering below this, but most of them know not,
[Indeed, the narrative is addressed to a fairly intelligent people, which the darkened ones can’t fathom,
Those, by the laws of nature, will dwindle to lower beings, as this very Book has said.]

48. Be forbearing to the Sovereignty of your Lord, for you are in Our Eyes, and transcend in the homage of your Lord when you get up,
[As soon as he’s left his body for the last time …]

49. And of the night: transcend in Him, with the Circles [we read “أديار"] of the stars
