Surah 54
The Moon
1. The hour has neared, and the moon has cracked,
2. And if they see a marvel they decline and they say: “continuing magic”,
3. They lied, they followed their passions, but every aim is settled,
4. And has come to them of the news: that has a rebuke,
5. Wisdom, far reaching; for, pledges do not make [them] self-sufficient,
[The pledge being a vow to give charity that one makes, if a wish that one wishes is fulfilled, as a way of persuading god to fulfill it. It is still common practice in the Middle East that must have its origins in pagan beliefs.]
6. Turn away [addressing the messenger] from them, the day the caller calls to a thing and it is denied [we read “نُكِرَ”],
7. Awed are their visions, they come out of their graves like spreading locust,
8. Thrusting at the caller, the disbelievers say: “this is an uneasy day”,
[“The moon has cracked” is believed to be a miracle, when the moon split into two parts in the sky …
They even made up stories about the astronauts who landed on the moon, that they saw a straight crack on the surface of the moon, and wondered what it was, until one of them told them this is written in the Qur’an …!
And that there’s a conspiracy to cover up this story …
But the moon cracks every month before their eyes …, when the new moon is born: the best way to describe it to say that it cracked …
It does this at a certain hour, dictated by the precise geometry of the heavens, and the movement that is dictated by time and that dictates time …
Nothing moves except with complete submission to its laws …
But it is all magic, in the eyes of people who don’t discern,
Their god is the biggest magician, who continually keeps exhibiting his magic,
No wonder why they still take magic as a sign of holiness, and never make any effort to learn the causes of things …
Although magic was proven to be false, thousands of years ago, in the courts of the Pharaoh, as this very Book has testified,
But when people are attached to pagan beliefs, pagan they will continue to be …
Hence, they took Moses as a more powerful magician than the Pharaoh’s,
And the splitting of the sea was also thought to be a great work of magic,
And until very recently somebody was suggesting that god gives the power of saying “be” to his close believers,
This is the time when fallacies are being exposed by reason …
Can’t they notice, that reason is more powerful than every trick that any magician can bring on …?
All religions are desperate to see evidence of their fallacies, and they will continue to make up stories and tell lies …
Their disappointment will get bigger, when they wake up from their dormancy …
This is not magic, and the dust in the graves will not be re-assembled,
It is them in their graves, in total blindness to the marvels of the Law and the grand journey of Time …]
9. Lied before them the people of Noah, they falsified the abider in Us, they said “a madman who’s been spooked”,
10. So, he called his Lord: “I am overcome, do triumph”,
11. So We opened the sky’s gates, with a downpour of water,
12. And We burst springs in the land, so the waters met about an aim that was destined,
[This is consistent with COB’s narration of a long period of heavy rain prior to the sinking of Atlantis, and that water in the deep layers of Earth makes it way out through holes and natural tunnels, in the presence of certain planetary alignments, and that the sound of it going out and back in can be heard from Earth Interior, and at certain points here on this surface.]
13. And We carried him upon the one with keels and hulls,
14. Traversing in Our eyes; a punishment to whomever had disbelieved,
15. And We left it as a sign, is there any rememberer?
16. So how was My suffering and how was My warning?
17. And We facilitated the Qur’an as remembrance, is there a rememberer?Top of Form
18. Has lied Ad [Eden], so how was My suffering and My warning?
19. That We sent upon them a shattering windflaw on an ominous continuous day,
20. Removing people, as stumps of uprooted palm trees,
21. So how was My suffering and My warning?
[The mention of strong wind uprooting everything, on a “continuous” day: is consistent with COB’s vision of the sun changing its track in the sky, due to the earth’s change of axis orientation, which resulted in a frightening long day on one side of it, causing wind storms of unearthly proportions …]
22. And We have facilitated the Qur’an for remembrance, is there a rememberer?
[Although a lot of pre-ancient history is told in the Bible and in the Veda of India, perhaps such details were being told for the first time in the Qur’an …
This is paving the way for the new understanding of human existence and history in the universe, that is starting to happen …]
23. Has falsified Thamud the warnings,
24. Said they: “a human one from us are we to follow? we are thence in bewilderment and madness,
25. “Has the remembrance been announced to him amongst us? nay, he is a liar a joker”,
26. They shall find out tomorrow who is the liar the joker,
27. We are Senders of the she-camel/Camelopardalis to them, be watchful of them and be patient [addressing the messenger],
28. And inform them that Water is a division between them, every drink/stream [a possible reading is “سرب", and the essence is preserved in both readings] is available,
29. So, they called their companion [their false god or prophet], he interacted [with the Water], he became disabled [alternatively, he caused disability to others],
30. So how was My suffering and My warnings?
31. That We sent upon them a single cry, they became like the body cut by a swordsman [we read “المُختطِر”],
32. And We’ve facilitated the Qur’an for remembrance, is there a rememberer?
[Indeed, there are some rememberers …
People who keep their memories to themselves, because they’ll be accused of madness if they speak openly. And alternative researchers who are driven by an urge to go around the globe and sometimes deep in the oceans, to take photos of ruins some of which are being seen for the first time …: are indeed rememberers …
I just hope that they do not get bogged down by money making and competition between themselves, and that they do acknowledge each other’s work when they use it as a reference, and that they do not plagiarise …
It’s near impossible for our minds to imagine how star constellations were used as sources of … “power”,
Unfortunately, energy is the only word that we have in our dictionaries, that points to everything that exists: matter, heat as in electromagnetic radiation …, electricity …
The best proof to the existence of “power” is the megalithic structures all around the world,
We would be fooling ourselves if we continue claiming that we know how those were built, and how the stones were cut, moved and placed in such precision …
The mechanical tools that we have, powered by energy as we know it: are incapable of such achievements …, even if the latest and best technologies are used …
We can come close to such precision when we use digital printers …
The reason is that digital printers are guided by mathematical routines …: this is as close as we can get to “power”, so to speak …
The "power" of star constellation was used in the past for a whole lot of things, and this was possible because the heaven’s structure was different, and our brains and sense organs were also different,
We would be also fooling ourselves if we continue to believe that our scientific understanding of the laws of nature is the only correct understanding of universal laws and phenomena …
But, like energy today can be used for good and ill purposes: “power” in the past was also used for both purposes, as those verses clearly hint …]
33. Have falsified Lott’s people: the warnings,
34. That We have sent upon them a shower of meteors, except the tribe of Lott, We rescued them at the early dawn,
35. Providence from Us; and thus We reward whoever is thankful,
36. And he warned them about Our mighty strike, they argued backward and forward about the warnings,
37. They made advances to his guest, We made their eyes sink, do experience My suffering and My warnings,
[Hinting here to a lower degree of vision …]
38. And thus, came to them in the early dawn: a settling suffering,
39. Do experience My suffering and My warning,
40. And We’ve facilitated the Quran for remembrance, is there a rememberer?
[The people of Lott were a pre-ancient civilisation, a rough location of it is around Indonesia and the rest of southern Asia,
Their main fault in the Bible was same sex love which was rampant,
And these days, as gay rights are being rightly defended, the subject cannot be easily debated,
And as I do not wish to judge either the protagonists or the antagonists, I’ll say that obsession with sexual pleasure of any kind is really a sign of a lost human identity,
Perhaps it is the case that when people want more of it that they go to extremes …
People’s sexual life is a very delicate balance, that can be managed only by each individual individually, without being scared or driven by the masses,
The pursuit of spiritual knowledge culminates in an acknowledgement and a remembrance of the Source of love and beauty,
When this is known first hand: the fervour of life’s desire of life: is thwarted and turned to water, and as the Ghita puts it: the stream pours into the ocean, the ocean remains undisturbed …
The decadence of Lott’s people should not be seen focused solely on their sexual orientation: but rather in their indulgence …
If it was not a shower of meteors that vanquished them: it would’ve been their own decadence. The laws of nature are unforgiving, hence the repeated verse: “thus was My suffering and My warning”.]
41. And came to the people of the Pharaoh: the warnings,
42. They falsified Our Paragons, all of them, so We took them the taking of an Exalted Capable,
43. Are your disbelievers better than those? or do you have an exemption in the Books?
[This confirms what COB has been saying, that the people of the Pharaoh had the Books of the message of before: that is of Abraham,
And that the main source of conflict was between the main two casts of society: the Egyptians, who were supposedly believers in the Books of Abraham, and the slaves, who were the migrants who came from the Levant, in search for work opportunities and a better life …
As those latter ones were mainly pagan, the Egyptians never treated them justly or with any degree of respect,
But by now, the Egyptians had lost the essence of Abraham’s message, and like today’s religions: the two groups became equally disbelievers …
This has been the destiny of every message: over time the essence is lost, and the message is reduced to a set of traditions and religious slogans and expressions, devoid of any spirit,
Thus it turns evil, to put it in the mildest of terms …
In one of the Books of the Hikmah it is said: it’s the same water, pour it from the good jug: it’s healthy and healing, pour it from the evil jug: it’s repugnant and sickening.]
44. Or do they say: “we are collectively victorious”?
[As all religions do …!]
45. The lot will be defeated, and will turn their backs,
46. Nay, the hour is their appointment, and the hour is more cunning more bitter,
[The repeated mention of the “hour” doesn’t sound like a one particular “Hour”, but rather saying that every event, big or small, has a time span, and when all its elements have played out: it will terminate …]
47. That the criminals are in bewilderment and madness,
48. The day they are drawn in the fire over their faces, do experience a touch of Saqqar,
[The name of Saqqara, where what believed to be the oldest pyramid of Egypt is: is not coincidental,
As said on COB a few times, the Pyramids of Egypt are all a testimony of Time, just waiting to reveal forgotten human history …]
49. That We: everything [We] created it by a destiny/measure,
50. And Our Aim is none but One, like an eye’s glance,
51. And We’ve destroyed your [the people’s] parties/sects, is there a rememberer?
52. And everything they did is in the Books,
[The double meaning is that everything is a potentiality that they choose to make happen, and that they bewildered while all the way believing that they went by their Book: like all religions today …]
53. And every small and big is penned down,
54. That the refuging ones are in Gardens and Vastness,
55. In a seat of Truthfulness, at a Capable Monarch’s
