Surah 101
The Toller
1. The toller,
[The toller of the bells of time,
An alternative reading is the parter or the divider, “ألفارعة"]
2. What is the toller?
3. How do you know what is the toller?
4. The day when people are like butterflies spread around,
5. And the mountains are like fluffed up wool,
[These are images from the earliest forms of existence, when nothing has a definite shape yet,
And at the end of the time cycle of many cycles … humanity is taken back to that beginning, before the worlds are created again, as the verses continue on …]
6. As for him whose measuring scales are heavy,
[As in intended for heavy weights, of meanings and essences …]
7. He is in a contented life,
8. As for him whose measuring scales are light [intended for light weights],
9. His mother/nation is an abyss,
10. And how do you know what it is?
11. A hot fire [the physical world]
Surah 102
Multiplication
1. Distracted you [the people] have been by multiplication/reproduction,
2. Until you visited the graves,
[Islamic scholars interpret multiplication to be that of business and money only …
As such, reproduction to them is a duty that has to be constantly fulfilled till one’s last days of one’s life, when they should be spending their time in studying and contemplation …
This is why they have not an issue with marrying young girls at the age of their granddaughters, in the belief it is halal,
They tell the world that this is done with her full agreement and consent …!
And the warning in the verse goes totally unnoticed …!
Their adherence to their pre-Islamic traditions is not going to make a god happy with them, and will definitely make non-Muslims around the world reject their beliefs and traditions …
And every now and then they manage to lure a non-Muslim into their world, they make sure they advertise their victory … saying: look, the people are embracing god’s religion in the millions …
But people are also embracing a total rejection of all religions: in the millions: thanks to the primitive interpretations of the Books …]
3. Nay, you shall find out,
4. And nay, you shall find out,
5. Nay, if you know the knowledge of certitude,
6. You would see the inferno,
[When the indulgence in such activity of multiplication and reproduction: is recognised to be the inferno from which all the Books have deterred them …]
7. Then you shall see it [with] the eye of certitude,
8. Then you will ask [we read “لتَسئلن”] on that day about the Providence/Abundance
Surah 103
Time
1. By Time [I swear],
2. That mankind is in a loss,
3. Except them who believed and did good, and counselled each other by the Law, and commanded each other of forbearance
Surah 104
The Winkers
1. Woe to every winker blinker,
2. Who summed up money and counted it,
3. He reckons that his money immortalises him,
[Winking to friends, behind not so close friends’ back, for the purpose of deception, or just as a sign of derogation: is an acceptable practice in some cultures, much so in Middle Eastern ones …
People with a good intention and a sense of respect to others would never wink behind their backs …
It must’ve been rife in the days when the Qur’an was being delivered,
But unfortunately, it still is, and as if those verses were never said …
The Qur’an associates this ugly practice with the love of money, not surprisingly,
Because one would have to be deeply materialistic in either case …]
4. Nay, he will be ejected into ruin,
5. And how do you know what is the ruin?
6. God’s incandescent fire,
7. That goes up [we read “تَطْلَعُ"] to the hearts,
[The nature of materialism penetrates every aspect of people’s character and even physical bodies …
They become one with it,
It dictates their emotions, attachments and beliefs …
And blinds them from every essence,
Those are not convinced by any truth,
What convinces them best is money accumulated, and wars won by the destruction of an enemy,
But as those two goals are never achieved except imperfectly and temporarily: you see them constantly hankering after more money making and more wars to wage …
And when it comes to the subjects of charity, piety and benevolence: they are articulate and profuse lecturers …
An accurate description of such characters is provided in chapter 16 of the Ghita.]
[The last two verses, COB sees that although their metaphoric meaning is quite clear: also hint to the reality of our world on the earth being a locked-up jail, totally isolated from the world of Earth Interior, which connects with ours through tunnels deep in the ground,
There’s no evidence to the existence of such a world … and science argues that inside the earth is just boiling hot lava …
In the future world the search for the tunnels leading to Earth Interior will begin, especially if the inhabitants of it make themselves known to the people of the world, when they conspicuously fly or land on earth like they have done many times in the past, in various parts of the world …]
8. It is locked up on them,
9. In tunnels extended/laid down
Surah 105
Elephantine
1. Have you [addressing prophet Muhammad] not seen how your Lord treated the people of Elephantine?
2. Has He not made their plots go astray?
[The supposedly historic facts provided by Islamic scholars can be, in the best case, as much trusted as the “news” that they put out today, on the different platforms of news and social media,
While today’s fake news can be easily botched, and hence easily exposed and falsified: the old ones have been over the centuries so ingrained in the minds of Muslims, and indeed the minds of non-Muslim Western scholars, that they are near impossible to contradict,
And while the serious researchers of history, undriven by religious convictions, await the results of archeological excavations anxiously to formulate a better understanding of past events: doubt lingers in their minds about the integrity and the scientific impartiality of the excavators and the institutes that they work for,
Unfortunately, we live in a world of illusions, as if there aren’t enough without the news …!
False news always backfires at the entities which fudge it and spread it for the purpose of gaining an immediate political leverage …
The brief history of Elephantine that COB has suggested is that the first Ark of the Covenant that Tut Ankh Amon (Aaron) had made, for the purpose of keeping the Tablets which were given to him by his brother Moses prior to travelling to the north of Egypt, where he lived for a while with the Hebrew tribes along the coasts and around the Delta …: was taken to Elephantine, after Moses was very upset upon his return by the idea that the Ark with the Tablets inside was used as an object of worship, possessing supernatural powers,
He was angry with his brother and took the Tablets out, and perhaps threw them and broke some of them …
Subsequently, the Ark with the Tablets inside it were taken to Elephantine, where a temple had been built before for a branch of what can be called Abraham’s religion …
But the worship of the Ark didn’t end …
And one day a shower of meteors bombarded the island …, as the following Surah 105 tells …
The black stone sitting on one of the corners of the Kaaba is one of them …
The event was turned into a blessing from some god … by the clever rhetoric of then Jewish rabbis …
Like the disasters which happen around the Kaaba in the present age are quickly toned down by Islamic authorities and portrayed as a blessing … giving the pilgrims a chance to martyr and enter paradise unobstructed …
So, the Ark was taken across the Red Sea and placed where Abraham had built before his memorial, named “the house” in the following Surah, where the Kaaba is today, and the rituals of circulating around it and worshipping it never stopped …
Whether the Saudi authorities are or not aware of such facts: will not be known very soon …
But in the early sixties barricades and high screens were put around the Kaaba, to screen the work that was said to be renovation or whatever …, with high screens also covering the path to it …
It’s possible that the Ark was moved out of it and taken to … god-knows where,
Perhaps the uncovering of those facts, although shocking to many Jews and Muslims alike, will help them free themselves from worshipping objects, manmade, natural or heaven-sent, so they try to correct their path and abide by the Lord of the house, rather than the stone house itself,
By doing so, they would both be going by the postulates of faith, featured in the first three Commandments, which featured also many times in this very Book, in Surah 98 in our recent postings, worded differently, but blinded by religious, nationalistic and political prejudices …: so they and all Abrahamic religions can correct their path and set foot again on a journey of knowledge and faithful inquisition …
Beliefs that are tied up to a version of historic events, or to places and objects on earth, that are destructible by natural events:
Such beliefs, upon which all Abrahamic religions have founded their belief: the Jews, the Christians, the Muslims, the Druze and the Bahais …: do not constitute knowledge, and do not make their laws and traditions correct and holy …
By Knowledge: all illusions fade away …]
3. And sent He to them fliers with dishes/saucers [we read “أبا بيل” as two separate words],
4. Hurling them with stones from the Meteor Belt [this is COB’s reading of “سجيل”],
5. Rendered He them to consumed rubbish
Surah 106
Quraysh
1. For the integration of Quraysh,
[Quraysh, which means scattered tribes …, were mainly Jewish tribes which had settled in Arabia, fleeing religious wars in the Levant and Egypt …]
2. Their integration during the winter and summer journey,
[Perhaps hinting to different traditions and rituals which were observed in the two main seasons in Arabia …]
3. They should abide by the Lord of the house,
4. Who fed them [protected them] from starvation and secured them from fear
